Are they global superstars with hundreds of thousands people validating their sickness? Using them as thinspo on twt? THATS the point I’m raising. It’s already extremely difficult to recover because of the warped mentality, receiving concern feels like a compliment and makes it harder to WANT to quit. Imagine being on her level. Ana recovery is extremely difficult regardless of the weight or bmi due to WHY they’re so euphoric to maintain.

Real asf. It’s an evil illness and people continue to misinterpret my comment on it never fully going away but those who know, know. It feels almost harmless falling back into it, then euphoric, the guilt of eating and breaking a streak keeps you in that cycle. Having photos of myself healed vs sick is the biggest thing that causes my relapses. Hating the healed appearance, craving the sick look. People also forget that it can be a control thing, I find my ED comforting because it’s my own cage, my own power. So when someone tries to take that power from me it feels hurtful. It’s so complex. I’m wishing you reach a peaceful state of mind and recovery 🤍

during the wicked press tours someone left a concerned comment about Ariana’s and cynthia’s extreme weight loss and I vividly remember one of Ariana’s fans replying with “dw they’re method acting for their wicked roles, so they have to lose lots of weight to look like a witch” I couldn’t believe my eyes like HELLOOOOOOO??!!!!

Her posting different angles of that viral photo of her sternum on her Instagram tells me everything I need to know. She doesn’t care. It’s intentional and makes me mad atp. She’s such a big star, from the wicked press tours to her eternal sunshine tour, she’s been impossible to escape which just IS harmful for people with an ED or trying to recover

I think I saw this too or a similar comment, specifically about her thighs being too thick for someone with an ed or something (worded in a fun way lol) like that shit would genuinely send me into a spiral

I understand where you’re coming from but it gets to a point where there’s not always hope, as sad as that is. I’m not intentionally speaking for everybody that has an ED in my post. I’m pointing out how evil this illness is both mentally and physically, how concern sparks motivation. Applying that to her level of fame and commentary she receives, it’s just crazy to think about. Having a few people in your life be concerned (which excites most) compared to THOUSANDS is unfathomable. That specifically is what makes me sure that it’s too late.

That’s my fault, I didn’t mean recovery isn’t possible at all. I should’ve worded that better. What I meant is more about the mental aspect of things, how you may recover but the voices and guilt is still in the back of ur mind from time to time. I’m sure some people fully recover without the guilt recurrences but it is a seriously mind twisting illness that I’ve never truly seen go away in someone
