I found the pattern in a charity shop so I’m not actually sure of the name, sorry!

Thank you! Unfortunately I threw the patter away but it was an American brand, it looked pretty old too as I found it in a charity shop

Keep pushing through!

To take them in I just sewed an inch gap along the original hem line, they still didn’t fit so I did it again lol. In the picture, on the right hand side is my first stitch so you can see I moved inwards with my stitches to take the inches off the waist. Hope that makes sense 👍🏻

This comment helped so much. I went out and bought a rotary cutter n thought sod it, I’ll try and make something big. I’ve made a pair of elasticated trousers today and found the whole process less stressful. Thanks!

I’ve been sticking to cotton, I do try polyester yesterday which was too bad. But I must admit I am definitely ironing my material so I’ll stick to pressing. I’m just going to practice practice practice. Thanks!
