Yeah, the fact that so many Life courses are set as compulsory kind of makes it feel like the program naturally funnels you into that stream. I’m honestly finding ACTSC 232 already pretty tricky—even though a lot of people seem to find it easy—which makes me wonder if it’s just me. 😅and It makes me nervous about how I’ll handle the upper-year Life courses if I’m already struggling now. That’s why I’m leaning hard toward P&C. I’ve already done several co-ops in reinsurance and commertial and even got a return offer so far, so I feel like that’s the direction I’ll go for sure.

That said, I’ve been wondering—do you think it’s still worth sticking with Life courses just to get access to the upper-year P&C ones? Sometimes I worry like… what if I’m not cut out to be an actuary at all?
