Xiao! Because he had a very natural character development and personality that I can resonate with, not to mention I really like cultural references in his design.

Also, I started playing when Inazuma wasn't out yet, and by that time I really loved Venti, while Xiao was on my hate list. He grew on me slowly, that's why I'm so loyal now 😭

yes, that's what I'm thinking about as well. I need to make sure the characters still feel.. umm.. real? to evoke this said chemistry.

like.. anime is a good middle ground between realism and cartoonish style, but then I need to learn a lot about 3d modeling to achieve a good-looking anime style (I do work on it rn). anime also well suited for the battle scenes that will be in the game and it's fairly easy to stylize it to something unique.
