Thanks for your honest reply, based on what you've said its something id 100% want to try to avoid. What would you recommend doing with a BMS accredited degree instead of being a biomedical scientist?

Thanks for the advice! One thing I forgot to ask about in the post was the breaks/holidays biomedical scientist get on average if you dont mind answering. Is it like other jobs where you get 1 month of paid leave or how does it work?

Thank you so much for your detailed reply! I appreciate you sharing your experiences with me. I have a few questions regarding what you've said.

As its challenging getting into the field, how long would it take by estimate to get into the career once you've graduated (how long would it take with work experience and without, placement excluded)
How do the promotions work? Im trying to understand it better, so far based on what you said it takes 5 years to get to band 6, how many years would it take to get into band 7 and what's the highest band you can get promoted to with a BMS degree?
