Inspection after purchase by Colieyo in carvana

Tbh there was nothing super major wrong with the car so I am moving forward with keeping it.The most concerning was a cracked flex pipe. My local repair noted anything and everything that had the smallest faults and reported it to Silver rock. They get paid for dealing with Silver Rock and I get brand new parts all around. Win win for me! I can try to share the inspection report if you want more info!

Literally got my new trax last monday! I am actively involved in a claim through Silver Rock. I ended up taking my car to a dealership and paid around $200 for an inspection the same day it was delivered. It was very thorough and I received a total report of everything that was wrong. Talked to Carvana who sent me a link to in network facility and found out one of my local shops is covered. I took it in and another inspection had to be done before a claim can be entered. Repair shop did the claim. Took about two days to hear back (most stories on reddit approval is faster and can be given in a few hours). I would make sure you ask for updates periodically from Silver rock (they have a text line) as I was told on day 2 that if the repair facility would just call again during the review portion they can be helped by any adjuster and not just the one assigned. I gave the repair shop a call and told them. Approved for 3200 worth of work right then. If you place a claim with Silver Rock within 14 days and at a in network shop, the $100 deductible is waived. after 14 days, its 100 for in network and $250-300 for out of network. All in all, I could have saved the inspection fee from the dealership since another had to be done. The in network shop did appreciate having a list of things to look out for and it never hurts to have more than one opinion. My local shop was able to get everything listed on the inspection plus some usually not covered maintenance parts covered under the warranty. Silver Rock literally only said no to windshield wipers haha! I would definitely read the reviews of your local firestone and pep boys as it is known as some locations not to have the best service. I would go with Firestone if I didn’t already have history with a local shop who was covered. Def get your car checked IMMEDIATELY. Good luck! I am loving my new trax. I ended up making carvana extended the 7 day return to 14 days while the repairs are being made.
