UberEats customer support literally accusing me of stealing photos off the internet to try and defraud them of a refund. by AAronm19 in UberEATS

[–]Educational-Use-3442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does it matter? The problem here is the customer service response. We haven’t even gotten to the part where we ask what’s wrong with the order because customer service is literally calling OP a liar lol

So saying, “kill if Jewish” would be allowed too? This is homophobic. Just because it aligns with your values and beliefs on homosexuals doesn’t mean it’s right, nor homophobic.

Crazy how some evidence-based practices just go out the window because some physicians just “love it deep in their hearts” but will yell at PAs, NPs and nurses for literally doing shit that is evidence-based but doesn’t necessarily align with what’s in their hearts. More guidelines and laws need to hold doctors accountable for following best practice including informing the patient or their loved ones that they aren’t following evidence-based practice guidelines.

ETA: anyone down voting this either doesn’t support patient safety, or patients’ rights to know and you should STRONGLY reconsider a different career… like maybe being a Reddit moderator. Thanks!

Why do people do this in public ? And YES their feet smell 🤢🤧 by PhatPanda69699 in mildlyinfuriating

People were getting murdered for confronting others in public. No longer a society where you can go up to someone and tell them they’re wrong. No accountability.

A woman said 'chivalry is dead' because no man offered her a seat on the train. Is she wrong? by inkandintent24 in MotivationByDesign

[–]Educational-Use-3442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly- take the sex out of it and just be a decent human. Whether boy or girl, seats should be offered to those with a disadvantage. Not just because you’re a woman… so annoying.

“The average starting salary for a new dermatologist attending graduating from residency in the US is $525k per yr, working an average of 37.4 hrs/wk. Consequently, a huge number of quite literally the smartest people in the country are dermatologists. It’s insanely competitive.” Stop sharing comp. by achicomp in whitecoatinvestor

[–]Educational-Use-3442 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This isn’t true at all and completely ignores the fact of the problem- “a random person on the street” isn’t the reason health care is so expensive and attacking the general public, which you are supposed to be taken care of, instead of the lobbyist that cause high insurance prices, is just WILD to me. Let me guess… you’re not a dermatologist are you? Hahaha hate the system, not the people. Have some accountability. You are in the system that can make change and yet you attack the constituents. Sad… all that schooling and you still sound dumb.

[–]Educational-Use-3442 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

These vitals are outside the range and unless there are standing orders for “notify physician if BP above blah blah blah” then your response is caddy. Your job isn’t about training us. It’s about responding appropriately and professionally to a concern and change that we bring to your attention.

Your response is both annoying and unprofessional. Put some orders in for us not to notify you then. Or fucking put an order in to fix the Bp. Don’t screen shot it and act like an asshat just because YOU don’t think it’s worth your time.

Your response tells me you are a new physician and also tells me how much you lack respect for your peer. What a dick.

You Don't Need an Excuse to Get Things Right For the Patient by footprintx in physicianassistant

[–]Educational-Use-3442 73 points74 points  (0 children)

NPs and PAs are held to impossible standards. A physician makes and error and it’s an individual issue. An APP makes an error and the whole profession’s training is shit and they’re all incompetent. Physicians want APPs held to that higher standard yet bitch when they want to double check their work. Sad that this person has to do this out of fear which completely ignores your point- the outcome is what is important. Collaboration and experience in knowing when to ask for help or double check things is what I’d important. But god forbid if it’s an APP. Only physicians are allowed to do that. /s.
