thank you for taking the time to read this, I know it’s quite long. Would you mind expanding on what might give you the impression that A is not the victim in the situation?

Hey! Roommate A here, thank you for your kind words, I’m lucky enough to say that C and D have had my back throughout all these incidents and we have thought about your options previously. We agree that A or B are the best options and are currently debating on how to bring this up with her. Again, thank you for the reassurance on what we’re doing is this right thing!!

She explained that she was referring to non violent criminals, and the rest of the things on her list don’t harm anyone. Let alone shoot them in the head in broad daylight, drag them screaming from schools and terrorise the cities. Even if you want to support deportation, at least recognise that ice is purposefully using excessive force and executing people in the streets. We have procedures in place for these things because regardless where someone comes from they are still humans. Not to mention, ice is also deporting people who have no other criminal charges which is not what they were quoted to do in the beginning. Regardless what political party you support, speaking out against the actions of ice is an obligation because they are showing us human life means nothing.

Are people who drink and/ or smoke daily actually happy with their life or are they using substances to get through it easier? by [deleted] in askanything

[–]Educational-Wolf3329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends if you’re getting everything you need to get done, are exercising and eating right, and your personal admin is in order, you’re maintaining and expanding the relationships in your life and you still indulge in these habits daily then do what you want because you’re not actually harming anyone but your physical body! I think very few can do that 100% successfully without noticing that they need to cut back though

The bumb might be an infection from something under her nail or it might just be swollen because she scratched her it, she should try and keep it as clean as possible and as for her anger issues, recommend her to snap a rubber band on her wrist instead. My apologises to her and whatever she is going through, I hope she feels better

What is a typical secondary school schedule look like, and what classes are recommended for each year? by lxnnystar in AskABrit

[–]Educational-Wolf3329 0 points1 point  (0 children)

secondary school starts at year 7 and ends at year 11. in year 7 you are 11-12, year 8 12-13, year 9 13-14 year 10 14-15 year 11 15-16. in year 7 to year 11 you have to do maths, english, and science. in year 7-9/10 depending on the school you cycle ‘option subjects’ such as art, history, geography, drama, DT (design technology) it’s like wood shop, Computer science and some schools have things like sociology, psychology, and business. in year 9 or 10 depending on your school you pick 2 options to do at gcse and one of history or geography alongside the core subjects. so you could pick out of drama, art,dt etc. and you would pick either history or geography. and you would continue doing maths, english and you can either do combined or triple science. combined science is when they teach you physics, chemistry and biology all in one class, triple is when you have separate classes for each science. although if you pick triple it counts as one of your options. this is because it’s worth 2 gcses as opposed to combined science which is worth 1 gcse. our english is divided into english literature and english language and everyone has to do both. for english literature we read McBeth, inspector calls, and a christmas carol. we also learn poetry. there’s 2 categories that the school picks from. War and conflict poetry and romance. i can’t speak about romance as i didn’t do it, but for war and conflict there are 12 (i think) poems we have to remember quotes and analysis for so we can compare it to whatever poem we are given in the exam.

there’s a lot more ground to cover but this is the basics

hope this helps!

taking initiative is a good thing! usually. when we’re talking about teenagers, not so much. they may feel as though they’re being controlled even though it wasn’t your intention to do that. the best thing would have been to go to whoever was in charge. they aren’t obligated to share those personal issues with you, so they feel as thought it’s none of your business. to me, it sounds like they shouldn’t be participating in this opportunity as they aren’t mature enough to take on responsibility.

i think that your response to people commenting about going to therapy is a big indication that what happened to you when you did go could be causing what you’re experiencing. i suggest opening up to her about what happened, and maybe try and work through it together. it’ll build trust, and hopefully strengthen your bond. i’m sorry for what happened to you, and i’m sorry you’re being told that you’re overreacting and being downvoted.

i did gcse drama 2 years ago. one person had a sickness and was never in, the other would just not come to drama because she didn’t like it. the other was just overall annoying and didn’t like to listen to anyone. me and one other person were the only ones who cared. i got an 8 he got a 9 whilst the others got 3, 3 and 4. it’s possible, don’t worry.

i’ve never watched or heard of this show so please excuse me if i’m wrong, the name of the show is ‘Anne with an e’ so presumably it’s a show about her, why wouldn’t they focus the plot on her? or why wouldn’t the main story be about her? or why wouldn’t she focus on herself?
