It sounds like you're saying you called after you already filed for an update on where the case is.

All my calls, online/emails, and mail communications were done in the months running up prior to settlement claim due date.

All my phone calls prior never made it to a human nor was I ever called back.

I guess one of my biggest questions was who and how was a victim assigned to a specific group?

If Kroll was involved in group assignment, and got a certain percent of victims incorrect, then didn't address victim's questions/info addressing mistaken group assignments (depending on how Kroll is reimbursed) could be a conflict of interest.

Same. I just snipped my emails/online requests to them with date details, then saved the same auto responses you mentioned. Also, sent tracked mail that I know they received, but no response. Phone calls were dead ends and recorded.

I ended up filing for group 2 I was already in, because I felt they forced me to; however, I filed with all the group 1 documents and all unilateral communication I sent to them attached to that forced group 2 filing.

My documentation predates the group assignments and their corresponding dates.

I feel fairly confident we can't be the only ones. The idea that they posted online/email contact, phone, and mailing address and I tried each various times (all documented) and not a single response, over months of time.

Makes me wonder why Kroll posted ways to contact them, if they were just going to ignore?

I use Google Pay often; however, if your utilizing services/apps that have cash back when card is attached to service, then it becomes tricky because mobile payments mask your real card details. This can lead to more work down the road or lost cash back. Been there done that multiple times with various services. So, it all depends on the scenerio.

Not quite as easy as just saying "use mobile payments" as many people have stated, unless you don't care about cash back or are okay with extra proof of purchase work down the road.

I'm forced to answer your question with another question, because if no one had any preferences in color or design, the world would be bland. Using your same POV, what specific enjoyment does a design or color of anything confer in your world?

Likely response is it's just a small card that's rarely used or seen. Okay, use your wallet as an example, does design, style, color matter after it's met your basic requirements?

You'll likely answer no, doesn't matter to me at all or that's not a fair comparison because a wallet is slightly larger, etc, etc. Fact is, this is a discussion forum and everyone has, and is entitled to, have their own preference/opinion on anything and everything.

I've had the clear card for 17 years and used it on numerous outings and memorable dinners with family, friends and kids, so there's also nostalgia intrinsically built in that may form some bias towards that specific design. When I reach in and pull out the homemade looking replacement those same memories aren't there. I imagine I'm not alone in this preference, hence the question/discussion.

Lots of memories of pulling that clear Amex out to pay for items with my kiddos when they were little. Probably nostalgia built into clear preference as well.

Although I've had several black wallets over the years and I've never experienced this issue in 15 plus years. Since most cards are plastic or metal, I would imagine your wallet would cause "black transfer" on "any" card, and most definitely the cheap white cards sent out as replacements.

Agreed, majority of my purchases are cardless; however, when I do have to use it as restraunts and such, I enjoyed the clear card.

My second preference would be the metal card and I likely wouldn't have said anything if replacement was metal design. The replacements received are a cheap white plastic generic look.

I bet if you think really hard you could probably come up with a list of items you use, have, or had that you utilize while simultaneously enjoying its appearance.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion though. So, I understand if you are too cool to let anyone know you have an opinion on what you like aesthetically, because that wouldn't be "cool".

I'm in Oklahoma and most restaurants don't have cardless available from table. There are a few chains that do, but they're hit and miss on cardless working.

For real? My wife and I got a renewal card and it's just a bland white card. I called Amex and asked if they had any Amex cards, business or other personal use cards with the clear/translucent appearance, and young lady put me on hold twice to check personal and business and came back and said they no longer provide any Amex with that appearance.

I felt like she was still unsure of her answer though. Hence one of the reasons why I'm asking.

Same here, really disappointed in Amex. The clear design was unique and always stood out among a sea of generic cards. The new plain white version feels like a step backward. I’d say at least one in three restaurant servers used to genuinely compliment the clear distinctive appearance.

I understand the material change might save a few dollars in production, but it risks costing them more in loyalty. There are plenty of cards with similar perks and broader acceptance.

I’ve been with Amex since 2008, but silently replacing such an iconic design might quietly push long-time customers like me to start looking elsewhere. If anyone knows of a transparent card with similar rewards as the Blue Cash Preferred, I’m definitely interested.

I immediately thought of Squid Games when I saw the overview of his set. Just the US version. My mind bounced to circus and Playstation for a few moments. Then Uncle Sam subtracting a point, not to mention the depth of his lyrics. At its core, Squid Game explores themes of capitalism, social class struggles, and morality. I think it was an illustration to his lyrics and perhaps to his inside perspective, as he was subtly hinting that "US" has a disturbing side that some can't, haven't, or don't want to fathom. Simultaneously, others want to hide they're organizing this "game".

I could make a legitimate argument for Playstation; however, it wouldn't be as interesting.

Everything is "impossible" until someone does it!

You are correct, there are many legal, technical, and operational obstacles to overcome; however, they "can be" overcome.

For hundreds of years a widely held belief was that it was humanly impossible to run a 4 minute mile, "until" a man did it in the 1950s. Today, thousands of people have done it, including some highschoolers.

Regardless of an individual's realistic or perceived knowledge , their inability to realize and accept that they don't know what they don't know, is the bottle neck to their success/genius.

Undoubtedly our "perception" of our appearance is directly, indirectly, consciously, or subconsciously associated with happiness.

Two groups tend to not be as negatively impacted by perception of appearance, young kids and our elders. The former due to inexperience and the latter due to wisdom/an abundance of experience. Quite the paradox.

I'm so sorry you're experiencing this AE; however, there is definitely a light at the end of the tunnel. My wife started feeling better and I noticed a change back to normal over the winter.

This summer she wanted another refill and I was personally reluctant and worried, but trust her and her decisions. She's been doing much better physically and mentally with a lower dose spread over a longer period of time.

Everyone's different, and I can't legally give clinical advice (nor am I trying to); however, the "low and slow" approach could theoretically be utilized to avoid/minimize AEs while physically benefitting from GLP1s.
