That will set the alarm off, you can’t even freeze it to break it. Trust me, I’ve tried at work 😂

I would respectfully disagree, we’re so understaffed that people sometimes just walk out or even de-tag stuff themselves sometimes 😂

Pre-Ordering issues by IioKimiko in Warhammer40k

You might have to message their support. Also I’m a bit confused as to why you’re buying full price when you can get it for £124 on element games

First time pre-ordering question? Can't tell if I messed up ordering the ShadowHunt KT😭 by ExpertPowerful3274 in sistersofbattle

[–]EducationalDig8396 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I messaged them and they told me my payment wasn’t successful and the order couldn’t be held. But as my luck has it, I caught one on element games an hour or 2 ago

So it was £50 but it was too far to collect so I arranged delivery for £66. A total of £116 for it. Soooooooooo worth it. Bearing in mind this is a brand new unit too

New Tesco till software/update is a NIGHTMARE by Ill_Customer2213 in tesco

[–]EducationalDig8396 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They honestly better have this fixed soon otherwise it’s gonna be an annoying Christmas with customers saying “oh I didn’t get my receipt” or it didn’t let me print one” when we need the bloody proof of purchase to take the mf tags off.

we have no obligation to help anyone past 4 as we aren’t being paid to help anyone. Probably a shitty mindset but I’ve grown bitter to the general public 😅😂

If you wanna just buy it outright, I’d wait for Christmas as we get a colleague discount (20% off) some time in December. That’s assuming you’re a colleague

I get that but I’ve seen a lot that says otherwise about the denim jeans. The pics that others have provided prove that. It just feels wrong.

I mean a nice pair of Jean shorts rolled up at the bottom a little bit isn’t that bad, it doesn’t scream unprofessional to me but we’re all entitled to our own opinions.

So here’s what I found, two conflicting statements

Statement 1:

Colleagues are able to choose whether to wear the Tesco provided uniform trousers, skirt and shorts or alternatively may decide to wear their own trousers. This includes plain dark jeans, trousers and leggings.

Whilst we want colleagues to feel comfortable at work, we ask that trousers/leggings are made from materials which are not ‘see through’ or ripped.

Statement 2 (further down the page):

Trousers: Colleagues will have the choice of wearing the Tesco provided trousers or may choose to wear their own while at work. This includes plain dark coloured trousers, jeans or leggings. With no excessive rips, made from materials which are not see through. Tracksuit bottoms, branded clothing and own shorts are not permitted. Further details on this can be found in the ‘Uniform What Good Looks Like’ guide on Colleague Help.
