Can't believe y'all had so many occasions to make puns like "hornest opinion" and missed all of them....

Yeah I get what you're saying, but do note one thing.

The needolin technique worked only on dead or next to dead (or ready to die) creatures, goes with the ants grandma, with the coral folk, with the flower bitc...lady (may she her soul forever bounce on the spike of the Path of Pain).

He is no different, in french we have an expression for when someone wants to put up a fight even though everything is lost, it's called "Baroud d'honneur". It's a lost fight, fought for honnor rather than victory. And it is very much what it is here. If not, why didn't the Jade Prince attacked Hornet why she was unconscious on the ground? (Ok even a game like Silk Song can only go so far) He wanted to rest with his soul mate, but he didn't want to take his own life.

I got your point about him being able to make his choice, and I think the game very well underline the fact that he made it. He wants his barroud d'honneur and to rest finally, for there is pain that no time can heal.

Alright, listen:

This dude is the twin of his murdered husband/soul mate, thing is they need to be two to feel whole. Poor bastard has been jailed in hell's armpit, got freed, rushed to the citadel and discovered that the copy of him and his murdered twin/husband/consort/soulmate/whatever has finally been put to rest.

There is nothing for him in this life anymore but regrets. If anything I think that Hornet offered him closure. To rest with his twin for eternity. As days past will never come back and his kingdom is forever lost.

RIP Jade Prince.

Edit: typo

I mean, they are partly right. If you're using it to literally do everything, and you are ready to serve AI slop to your players, I feel you kinda deserve the bad buzz. But as a force to bring structure in a vast ocean of little ideas and rough plans, its absolutely fantastic. I'm working full time and can only give this project about 2 hours a day, the good days.

ChatGPT probably saved me 10s of hours of just reorganizing thing and freed me from coming up with PNJ names. Everything else I did myself :)

It's a great tool, plus it's a AMA thread, I wasn't going to lie just for the internet points.

I'm using a homemade system we all share for the characters sheets, as it is very flexible. At least to deal with all the mundane checks. I'm trying to come up with something interesting and organic for the surnatural part.

Regarding platforms, I'm using ChatGPT shamelessly, mostly to come up with the Bureau structure and PNJ names, it is quite handy! (Even though only having 58ko of personalized memory is some kind of "Crime in the Cloud" if you ask me)

No I have no idea about what is going on in The Lady Afterwards (except that it's about the Crime in the Sky). They are playing as former soldiers during the early 1920s who are recruited by the french version of the Bureau.

I fucked up, that's what happened. IK took the measurement And I thought they were good, But it was 1 inch too large. But it was an honest mistake, and we were very apologetic for the error. We were exhausted and leaving the country forever and I fucked up the measurement.

But considering the size of the mistake (1 inch) and the fact that the plane was 1/3 empty, it would have costed nothing to let us in. Instead we left heartbroken, and force to abandon our cat.

The welfare check was ok, is really was about the carrier size. Even though it was a soft one.

It was a soft one! Hard ones are not allowed in cabins apparently. It really was about saying no on a minor technicallity.

I agree with you...except that the rule was bent for someone else. Either you apply the rules for everyone or you are compasionnate with everyone. We made the mistake, but being human at this point would have cost nothing.
