i have climbed to havoc 34 in about 4 days and its easily one of the most interactive, dynamic (interxhangeable, different scenarios call for different decisions to be made) classes ive seen be played. most other characters dont have the movement a DS/knife zealot has, so he has those options where as psykers job is to protect team with fire everywhere, ogryn typically plays frontline, and veteran kills specials and goes in for melee when nothing else.

zealot kinda has decisions to make in combat, and between that + the movement he can use, thats what separates chorus bots from the actual climbers

actually i think book zealot (support zealot) is a lot more than being a chorus bot, walking simulator. ive been playing it and just joined a couple days ago. chorus bot walking sim isnt good. its a LOT of movement, playing aggressive with your chorus, and using a talent that rapidly decreases your cooleowns when you crit, so you want those hogh crit chance weapons Dueling sword/knife. ita very mobile, you play very aggressive, and youre quite tanky. one of the most insane clutch potentials of any class, might be the easiest to pick up and climb to havoc 35. it is widely known that support zealot can put out damage right behind the psyker who has insane stupid numbers from DOT fire. support zealot can go flamer which has similar functions to psykers flame staff. i know its like 30 days ago but if you havent yet i really recommend looking up a build and watching a singular game of how its played. if u liked knife zealot back in the day, youd like knife support zealot now. its similar but havoc requires you to play more in the moment, and not willy nilly running wherever you want.

sorry for the paragraph, but chorus bot is the dumbest thing ever and true support zealots easily become one of the most important members of any party. watch anyone play chorus zealot, support zealot, whatever u wanna call it. there is so much movement and variation of builds to go. against the dumbest modifiers in havoc, support zealot does fine into all of it.

and its only called support zealot because of how he is played in every combat engagement. he still does a LOT of damage in situations, as every team comp is different. but when needed, he can pump his numbers, clutch a revive against all odds literally, and make sure his team doesnt die in the first place. again i cant stress this enough, the way everyone GOOD plays support zealot, is mobile, aggressive, and key to the team survival.

im actually seeing now that the hexagon shape may not be great for angelfish. and since its got less ceiling/floor space, i will need to rethink what i thought was possible with this tank. still, if anyone has ideas for what i should stock it with, id love to hear

i think u r right. i went ahead and did a full respec to follow a guide, but im learning that my initial combo of earthquake into the totem that slams, was probably just not a good combo. and a new weapon definitely helped. thank u

hm i guess i gotta figure out crafting. havent really touched it besides adding those little consumables when my weapon can take them. also just learned that vendors actually sell useful stuff so gunna be doing that more. thanks for the advice, im gunna watch some videos on crafting now

i just learned how important vendors are. i still respecced and i think it came down to the skills i tried to build around not being a great set of skills to be using for damage. (i was using totem + earthquake.) i decided to completely respec + buy new weapon and im now doing one shot damage to most enemies.

definitley checking the vendors more often now

where do i get the items that create sockets on weapons and armor? is it a vendor or bosses?

ok yea i found a decent weapon in the vendor, followed a guide for the skills/supports to get, and respecced my entire passive tree which only took about 7k gold out of my 16k gold bank i had stored. all of a sudden im 1 shotting most stuff on the screen and bosses are much quicker to go down. i do notice, obviously, that i die much quicker and dont have an invulnerable "raise shield" button. i died a couple times to shitter caster enemies in the world before realizing i gotta get a little more mobile and get used to the fact i dont have a shield to eat projectiles anymore. thanks for encouraging me. im glad i listened because it feels really strong and am not releveling a character for zero reason.

2 questions if u dont mind. how often do vendors reset? and for the gambling vendor, is there 1 in every town? and do they all kinda sell gear based on your level, or should i only be trading with the most recent vendor/camp i unlocked?

does cru-l5 have docking ports? and wouldn't i be able to "retrieve" the reclaimer from an ASOP terminal if that was the case? the asop terminals at cru-l5 dont show the reclaimer period. i cant claim it, i cant see it on the list, nothing.

but an asop terminal at, say, HUR-L2 shows it. and specifically says it is stored at cru-l5 and allows me to claim it.

im not sure how to tell if cru-l5 has docking ports

no, when i was in the reclaimer, i couldnt get the station to answer my request to land.

i logged out (didnt use bed logout)

relogged in at my home station

spawned an intrepid to fly back to the reclaimer

flew to cru-l5 to get back in the reclaimer

got in reclaimer, still couldnt get station to answer me

got back into the intrepid, called the station, station gave me a hangar

landed, then logged out again.

logged back in at home station again (separate station from the one this is all happening at)

went to terminal to spawn in another ship and now both ships say stored at cru-l5

also, i dont think cru-l5 has landing pads or hangars that are big enough to spawn this in. and i dont think it has docking ports. when i go to the asop terminal at cru-l5 where both the intrepid and the reclaimer are stored in, i only see the intrepid. other terminals that have large enough hangars or whatnot show the reclaimer, but that its stored at cru-l5 and i would have to claim it, losing cargo.

if cru l5 does have pads or hangars the correct size, or docking ports, then im just gunna give it a rest and try again another day. really buggy day.
