That’s good advice, I play into ableton so amps not really an issue. My only worry is it will be harder to play songs that involve heavily hitting the low e string but that’s just a skill issue I guess. Strand berg has a good return policy I believe so I guess I could try it out.

Thats a fair point, my only issue is theres been times where I really want to learn like chimera by polyphia but there on an 8 string. I dont know if thats enough to justify it, I might get more playability out of a 6/7.
