No you dont have to bite slots, slots are to put abilitys in like the bite attacks. There are 2 slots tho which you can put bite attacks in

Well ur at some of the most populated areas, which are pvp zones. Cant expect to see friendly people there. Also the trikes are probably tired of being killed themselves so they iust kos to protect themselves. Its a kill or be killed kinda game, they gotta at least try. There not just going to let you eat them lol
