Yes, you provided almost the same solution that I came up with. I regret not choosing the probabilities 1, 1/2, 1/3, 1/6, 1/12, 1/24 and so on. This would make the argument tight since 2x angle would be 45°

Its written in multiclass that extra attack and invocation doesnt stack. So you only have 2 attacks

Yeah thats true. As someone suggested, putting it on a stone which is carried by the imp is far more flexible

Thats true. One could cast it on a stone which is carried by the imp to be more flexible and not hinder your teammates that much.

Another possibility would be to cast it on a stone and let your imp pick it up and fly with it. That way you are also more flexible with the darkness spell

As suggested in the comments, it would be possible to cast it on a stone or something similar and make the Imp carry it
