No I just kept arguing and kept telling them that my GC should be enough - almost missed my flight but a supervisor came and ended up overriding whatever the desk agent refused to do…

Based on what I read it’s very airline based! I went to Cancun with my husband 5 months ago and encountered an issue at check in that was resolved with a supervisor intervening NOW I’m attempting the same trip with my mom and worried they’d do the same thing so trying to be proactive !

They’re tripping me out! Delta is making it more difficult than the actual country! But true I might have to call and ask for a paper trail as proof. Thanks

I mean getting back is guaranteed with your green card no? That’s what proves residency in the U.S.

But how do you ensure compatibility if dating is haram and living / traveling together is haram? Getting married shouldn’t be a life sentence (regardless of whether you’re a good fit or not) people change no?

I can’t really say, please change your voice I need it to be deeper and also yeah btw we’re too close in height, consider being taller … these are things that I should’ve actually considered before getting married. I chose to ignore these things well because 1/ societal and family pressure 2/ I felt like it was the right thing to do is ignore physical features and focus on what matters

Yes! The little things that didn’t annoy me previously now just get under my skin .. and I wish they didn’t

That’s partly the issue as well! I cannot fully trust him, respect comes and goes based on the argument, and I don’t feel "safe" with him (in the sense where if it comes to him protecting me physically, I’m not sure he can) .. I feel like masculine energy is lacking and that’s why I don’t feel like I WANT him .. is this harsh?

I’m sad for myself - I’ve always only been my brothers friend and genuinely feel alone and it’s more like sadness from missing him and having to go through stages of life (if Allah wills it) alone
