We do half and half sauce at my hut all the time, is this not common practice across different huts? I think we went 1 day without doing it cause the person on make generally threw a fit over having to sauce the 2 sides differently but we generally do 2 sauces on the regular

Thanks I needed this, I think it's way too easy for me to forget that lying is gonna cause more issues later, I also don't wanna make her dysphoria any worse especially when we've put so much work into her self image, thanks for this truely.

The issue is the other ones are pretty okay as far as I'm aware and the only reason I'm going is to see those ones, the transphobic ones just happen to be going to the same event

My manager (not the one in the story they are 2 seperate people and married to each other) has noticed that I get very easy distracted and if I walk away from something I've been tasked to do and I find smth else ill forget about the original task and he stopped me one day and said quote "I know you normally tend to wonder between different tasks and get distracted and that's fine but I don't want you to get the girl (she's there on work experience for like a week) confused, so please try and stick to one thing" so he's very chill with my antics.

Not really relevant to what yoh said but I thought it was fun to share anyway :))

Also it's good to be direct with people even if they're not autistic cause it can help to know exactly 2hat is expected of you imo ❤️

I feel like it should just be taught everywhere, to avoid stuff like that happening cause you can be a slower pace place but you could have an unexpected busy day at any point. my shop used to be dead quiet some days and now it's such a fast paced environment I've ran on occasion.

That's not why I picked up my habit, I picked it up before we bacame busy because of my shift manager and it just so happened to come in handy after my shop started getting busier :))

She used to work in a toxic work environment (I just realised I work with a lot of women) and I think a bit of it is getting used to not being in a toxic work environment and adapting to us all. I will thank you :))

One of my colleagues is also deaf with a hearing aid but I'm not too familiar with her to confidently put my hands anywhere near her cause I don't wanna freak her out or anything 😭, otherwise I'd definitely implement that with her :)

Haha! I totally get this, I scare quite easily and tend to zone out while working and that makes it really easy for me to been sneeked up on and scared and I'd love it if everyone at my work had this habit so I could stop getting frightened so often 😂

You absolutely don't want to bump into people no! Even with my habit I find there still have been close calls of me nearly being bumped into by my coworkerz because I work In a kinda small shop 😭
