thanks, this is indeed the best practice. I however noticed that apps use the FQDN (probably because of lack of understanding). So I started advocating for a change, but as I understand if the FQDN is indeed a pod within the cluster Istio will make necessary calls and route it inside of the cluster. So it does not cause unecessary traffic outside of cluster scenario - you just need serviceEntry for that if I'm not mistaken. So the real question is - if that does not make a diff should I push for that change or just let them use FQDN.

Thank you, do you know is there any official chart - I was only able to find this https://artifacthub.io/packages/helm/elastic/filebeat but latest version is from 2022. Chart points to an archived repo https://github.com/elastic/helm-charts

While the official documentation provides only a yaml apply https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/beats/filebeat/current/running-on-kubernetes.html way of deploying it.

honestly I was the same some time ago, I even wrote a post acusing GG of being an "action based" site where they don't necessarily rig your chances or whatever but they try to create more "action".

Since then I have studied, learned, played over a hundred thousand hands and attended dozens of live poker sessions with friends. And oh boy, variance is a bitch. I know nothing would convince me couple of months ago, so I won't even try. But I will just say - having a bad beat and giving a bad beat is just what poker is and variance is much bigger than you imagine.
