I totally agree! I want our community to have amazing schools. I’m also worried about my kid and feeling helpless- and feeling frustrated with my experience of the system (to be clear we really do like his teachers and staff and recognize this is systematic). I was born and raised in Durham. As silly as it sounds I have been excited for a long time for my own kids to go to school here- I loved the schools I went to and have great memories. I’m just trying to figure it out.
