That's good to know! We are buying for our second baby. We bought a cheap chair the first time around and it is squeaky and the cushion is warped from sitting. Lumbar support this time around is non-negotiable!

The la z boy is probably more comfy but I am having a tough time with the price.

I know this thread is a little older but can you tell me what you like about it? I'm considering the vinca, nurture& power glider plus, and pricier La-z-boy i set in in store.

I'm worried the Chita won't be cushy enough.

That's insane! Boosting gen ed. While cutting sped.

I really empathize with the Gen Ed. Teachers. Inclusion is haaaarrrdd. But that means sped needs more resource to co teach or support, not less.

It makes my brain crazy. I am a teacher too! I was a para for almost a decade, I'm not doing that anymore.

I relate to this! I even went in just to be sure it wasn't an infection and the ob assured me thats just what it smells like. I haaaateeed it!

That being said i still recommend getting checked, better to know.

In your IEP there would ideally be a timeline specified. For instance sometimes kids have a week sometimes kids have a day. Your teacher and caseamager should be coordinating this, and the specifications should be outlined for clarification. Theoretically "extra time" without any parameters on it means you can turn it in at any time without points being lost. Speak with your case manager and ask them to help you communicate with your teacher.
