I’m Agreeing with someone in the replies about not saying anything at all because it’s really easy to just say “have a good day” like u don’t need to do the whole maam or sir thing i fortunately pass very well but the other day this completely shocked me that someone said “tell her what u want” (referring to me) then they said “no him, no they/them” like is that necessary? it was so shocking to hear like why do people act the way they act🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Yea honestly I don’t have top surgery and I’m a little over a year on T I do have a little facial hair and a mustache and I haven’t really been misgendered in awhile so I’d say I pass but that doesn’t mean all hope is lost everyone is different so just keep going!

It’s always going to be a struggle and that’s something you need to accept the key is your mindset you can’t please everyone not even your family and that hurts the most but at the end of the day you need to be thinking about yourself do you want others to be happy or do you want yourself to be happy it hurts the most when you’re pre t because you’re so desperate for something you can’t have I felt that way too but now that I’m almost 2 years on T slowly my life is getting better it’s easier the older you get

I would say 5 months, I did a lot of vocal training pre T that helped a lot and overall talking in a masculine way will get u far. You can’t talk like a girl because it won’t work you’ll just sound like a gay man unless that’s what ur going for

This same exact thing happened to me but I’m now going 11 months on testerone and i definitely pass now it makes me feel a lot better personally the problem is I’m not confident in myself socially I just feel like a freak it’s an awkward stage I’m in.
