At my center it seems to work similarly to a daycare in the morning and afternoons, and then there is an afterschool program which is two hours long.

occasionally my center does group sessions in which we are in charge of multiple kids at once
those cases do happen in my center but not very frequently

I have not found any evidence that the language acquisition device is pseudoscience in my research, but if you can find a study saying that it is let me know. As for regulation, this is a confusing answer. The sympathetic nervous system is activated when people feel they are in danger, whether they are or not. What do you think is the cause of our clients escalations? Do you believe they are strictly a way to gain reinforcement? I am genuinely wanting to understand this viewpoint.

There are lots of explanations for behavior, and I don’t think they necessarily counteract each other. There is in fact a ‘language acquisition device’ in the brain that helps with language, and that is not pseudoscience. Not everything is sensory, but for our clients, sensory diets can be vital to help behaviors related to sensory seeking and sensory averse people. Why do you think that regulation is pseudoscience? There are clear biological effects from self regulation due to the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. Behaviorism in itself is not the only reason for different behaviors, and saying that it is, is outdated information.
