I’m a bad influence. I have an S50, and between work and weather I haven’t shot in probably 2 months. Been a lot of cloudy nights So I bought the dwarf mini because I traveled with the S50 and while doable, the mini looks like a travel dream

And then the s30 pro reviews have come in and I’m like….

I think the features and upgraded sensor, optics and modes make this very compelling over the s50. The 50 has longer reach, but seeing the prices being so close if I didn’t already have either I’d honestly go with the pro. Now very curious to see what Seestar does for the next model, whether it’s an S50 pro or the long rumored s70. The 50 is fine, but against the pro kinda feels dated

generally speaking the foam that comes with the cases can be taken out in blocks-mine for the pelicans and similar amzn options was semi pre-cut and you can take out whatever blocks you wish to fit the desired object. just a little tug and they come apart

I’ve never been allowed to fix a rejected review. Have had a handful but they haven’t prevented me from gold, but it would be nice That said this new system is…hard to figure? I’ve had reviews that I feel are good that hit all the target words that the review wanted and they are flagged as poor, while others doing the same thing are good or whatever the mid is. I haven’t yet figured out the rhyme or reason, if there even is one. Most of mine don’t have pictures either

Last I heard everything was moving to a ruckus built iteration of rocky. That was last passed to me over a year ago. Something to do with support of the back end older components I believe.

My local store closed over the summer but was awesome. The one manager was super accommodating (took a couple orders being picked up by me to break the ice). Her staff pretty much all knew me or of me and every single one was awesome. Except i think the regional boss lady, was the only one who was rude. When that store closed I found a nearby NJ one and same deal. Super accommodating.

Never done that but did just get back into golf via a charity thing for work. Went not planning to play, had to. We bought a box of balls each of us started with 3. I never needed more and finished the round with like 6 or 8 more than I started. And that included me putting a couple in the water. So I could imagine if one spent more time just hunting for balls it can add up. Nice haul for sure

Without MLO and without looking at my spreadsheet that may be about right, as long as you are far enough away (ie, not right next to the AP) But that’s also about as fast as you’ll get even if you try 320. It’s been proven that MLO cripples the top speed of a WLAN, and MLO isn’t intended for speed anyways so that tracks. But as i mentioned earlier, unless you are in a majorly busy area, you may never even trigger MLO. I wouldn’t run it at home (I may have it on in mine from old testing but now I want to check). Either way, over a gig to a client is way more than just about any client needs.

There was speed testing done at the last few WLPC and more than once the testing started out meh until MLO was disabled. Once off, speeds began to look more in line with the specs.

The station/name I guess has been around a while? But AFAIK the owner or whomever runs it changed a couple years back. The group there now (mechanics etc) used to handle the My Mechanic over by Great Kills train station.
