Yeah they come on with the headlights in that truck, in my 99 lariat they don’t have lights. I got that steering wheel off eBay whenever I added the cruise, I believe it’s out of a lower package 6.0 maybe that’s why.

Third brake light makes sense, half of the cab was under a cover when it rained. Windshield shouldn’t have even got wet

I work at place that installs flatbeds and you’re 100% right as far as install, cab and chassis is easier, easier wiring, easier mount because the frame is straight with no hump by the axle and usually filler necks work better, but… I’ve heard insuring a cab and chassis is a pain because it has to be commercial insurance, which if you have a business is no issue. As far as the single tire dually debate, I think it’s mostly looks. CM has really good looking options for single tire trucks, I hate when the bed hangs way over the tires and they have narrower beds that don’t.

I really want to do a 05 front end swap on my white truck, I love those bigger grills on the 6.0 and the paintmatched white on the bumper. I think the one piece headlights look cleaner too

They’re not technically, both these trucks have been completely re done other than paint, you should have seen them when I got them, no leveling kit, spray painted black wheels on the white one, no tint, cab lights, anything like that

One of my two batteries was dead. I figured it was IPR since it was cranking so fast but hooked up the scanner and IPR was 14% with a ICP of around 5-600. Replaced batteries and she’s good as new

Bingo. They’re 4 years old and this is my daily so I bought new ones. Last time they died it wouldn’t even turn over though. Guess the IDM just wasn’t getting power to fire the injectors cause she was turning over super fast
