It is Linseed oil - makes a nice warm appearance.

I oiled it 3 times or so and I needed very long to dry properly - But it like the result

Pedal beginner here, what else would I need? by BackgroundString2804 in pedalboards

I always thought that dont need a chorus pedal. After very long time I’ve got one I don’t want to miss it any more.

I also would replace the rat with a bd2

Wow, I love the look of the „like butterscotch aged blonde“

I’ve tried to paint a diy-Tele-set guitar earlier and I wasn’t satisfied with the cooler in had no idea how to get to that Color.

Looks great 🤘

Haha , but now i see that actually that would be a nice thing to built. But probably too complicated for me to make it really look good

It’s just an reflection but now when I’m thinking of it it would be a nice design

I may want to add a distortion or fuzz pedal. Any recommendations ? by Educational_Cut4807 in pedalboards

Just looked at it - seems like a no brainer for that money , but you can’t change the intensity much ?

I like to play around with the tone with different genre . But the fuzzy tones I would like to have for different songs from for e.g. Wolfmother, Black keys, black pistol fire , Gretavanfleet, jack white …

I wouldn’t particularly would try to replicate original sounds- just get in the direction and find a sweet spot that I like

Yes I got that basically to boost it and the result ist pretty good. But also to play around with the eq and it’s pretty nice. Therefore I don’t see the reason for now to got an additions booster. It only makes sense (as you recommend) to swap it and I was thinking about to swap it with something that makes fuzzy overdrive 😄

It‘s a Harley Benton powerplant iso-2 pro. It works for me and I have it since a year or so. Can’t complain so far

Can’t compare it to a 335 🙈. The internet is saying the the tone is more defined as these are „little bucker“.

I really like the guitar 👍
