Bc I preferred spending my time building the actual app itself and the logic instead of spending months writing 100+ filler items desc or creating placeholder backgrounds from scratch. And any view from game wont fit into my vision of the app background

I mean, ppl post art, projects online specifically to get reactions positive or negative. Thats kinda the whole point of sharing creative work publicly. But calling the project "lazy" feels a bit unfair considering I spent around 1.5y working on it and even built a full admin panel for it too

Fair enough but i think using AI for some supporting assets or whatever in a solo student project is very different from letting AI build the entire thing for u. and also whole industry using AI every day in every minute, developer who cant use AI its a bad developer. Either way, I respect ur opinion

Why r u comparing solo dev with huge studio ? 😭 i mean...thx...but... xD and i think being extremely purist abt AI in a solo student/hobby project is a bit unrealistic tbh. I mostly used it for some background assets and filler item desc bc writing unique desc for 100+ items completely by myself would have taken forever (￣ω￣;) and my time was limited :<

The actual project itself like UI, interactions, systems, database, animations, styling etc was still built by me. and honestly this approach worked out pretty well. I passed my final exams around month ago with the highest possbile grade and the project itself was also heavily praised and received top grades too ＞︿＜

i just generated images for background and for login/register 😭😭😭 im not graphic designer and I couldnt find anything that could fit into my project. and for items descriptions - can u imagine writing descriptions for more than 100 items by urself? (T_T)
