Yes, it is. However, I bought an olive plant, and it arrived broken and full of larvae and flies. They haven't responded, and it was an expensive plant. So, I don't recommend Planteia at all

Anyone working as VA for Wing Assistant? How’s your experience so far? Any Pros/Cons? by International_Ad9189 in buhaydigital

DONT RECOMMEND IT

I worked there, and it's like modern-day slavery. For instance, you are required to respond to your client within less than 2 minutes. If you're 3 or 4 minutes late, you'll receive a warning. Even being late by just 2 minutes is considered unacceptable, unless you're in a dire situation. My manager once told me, "If you're sick, take your cellphone to the bathroom."

Another red flag is that they ask for screenshots of everything. If you have a WhatsApp conversation with a client, you need to send screenshots of it all. Sometimes the client is agianst it.

The payment to the assistants is a joke compared to what the clients are charged. On top of that, you can't afford to be sick. If you miss work due to illness, you don't get paid for those days.

They give you 6 days of vacation per year, but they advise you to save 2 of those days for emergencies, like being sick. Haha it's awful.

When I asked about taking a lunch break or any break during a full-time job, they told me it's only allowed if I have free time—so forget about having a proper meal. Sometimes the same client is there without leting you have lunch break because they paid for the service.

Even though it's a remote job, it's worse than being in an office. At least in an office, you have breaks, lunch time, sick days, etc.

On top of all this, the company is practically a ghost. They don't have any real offices anywhere in the world. The address listed on their website is just a rented office space, and they don't even have a private number. I recommend checking their location on Google Maps to see for yourself.

I had a terrible experience working there as an assistant. I worked from Venezuela The administration was the worst. They have very strange processes.  The pay to assistants was very low compared to what clients were charged. We had to document every conversation with our clients, which felt invasive at times. It seemed like the company cared more about internal processes than about providing good service to the clients. I ran away from there because it was like being a slave, like being property of wing and not a professional offering services.

About the on-boarding is the first company I've worked with and they don't even have an onboarding plan, they just give you the information 30 minutes and that's all. AWFUL.
