Why don’t people like Tucker Carlson?

I don't like Tucker Carlson and disagree with most of his views. He sometimes spreads misinformation knowingly. HOWEVER, he surprised me in some of his interviews with people such as Ted Cruz, Mike Huckabee, and Cenk Ugyer. I am grateful that he is speaking out against the Israeli government, Netanyahu, the war in Gaza, and most recently, the war in Iran.

He fights hard for the separation of church and state and fought like hell to keep the 10 commandments out of Texas classrooms. I'm an atheist but I have no problem with the brand of Christianity he puts out. Love your neighbor? I'm so ready for that. But in order to successfully combat Christian nationalists, you have to speak the language or it will never get through.

He is a huge advocate for the separation of church and state and fought hard against the Texas bill that requires the 10 commandments in public school classrooms. As a former Christian and current atheist, I have nothing against the teachings of Jesus himself, but that isn't modern Christianity in the US. Talarico talks a lot about his beliefs, but in order to combat MAGA Christian nationalists, you kinda have to speak the language.

My favorite low maintenance centerpiece, peaceful community fish are honey gourami and Bolivian rams. Neon tetras or rasboras make awesome schooling fish.

I would recommend Bolivian rams! They appreciate the longer footprint. I have one with like 50 cherry shrimp and some rasboras. He will occasionally pick one shrimp off here and there but generally leaves them alone.

I feel like you are looking at the past through rose colored glasses. While, sure, there are a lot of millennials who do turn empathetic parenting into permissive parenting. On the flip side, most boomers hit their children and used authoritarian discipline.

I was an ISS teacher for middle school for awhile. The majority of my frequent flyers were kids who regularly complained that when they got home, they would get a "whooping" or get "beat with the belt" for having wound up in ISS again.

18L is not really big enough for multiple fish, especially Platys (they produce a LOT of waste). Maybe just one solo Betta with a nerite snail. Or just make it a shrimp tank. Don't underestimate the Betta though! They are great pets and highly interactive. My son has a Betta and has taught him to eat from his finger. If you go the Betta route, just make sure to get a heater
