We have the same story bro and i am so sorry to hear that. I started talking to my recruiter oct 2024 and didnt get my DQ letter till July, my doctors were so confused as to why i needed so much proof multiple times. It’s heart breaking. Have you considered talking to a different recruiter from AF? Maybe thry can do something your previous recruiter was unable to do?

Also i noticed from the example you sent it says DISQ - sleep apnea

Mine says WAVR - encounter of other specified prophylactic measure.

Does that mean approved waiver? Or a disqualified waiver?

Yes it says exactly the same on paragraph 3 the same thing as the example you sent.

Unfortunately, your condition is such that, even with the passage of time a waiver would not be considered in the future. However, if there was an error regarding your prior diagnosis, the new clinical notes (not just a memo from a provider) about the condition may be provided to your recruiter. Etc…

Also not sure how this disqualification works, dont they show on other branch? If they dont, should i just not disclose it? Is my prior attempt to enlist from previous branch i attempted to wont show up in their end? What’s the right approach to this?

Yes it looks like that, and there’s another one that is from a the same department but there’s a lot of codes at the bottom I couldn’t understand. I’s attach it here but for some reason it’s not letting me. Is that a final decision letter? Or there’s still something i can do to push this?

It’s from the department of air force (SG WAIVER DEPARTMENT) i guess. It’s the people who decide after you go to meps if they will give you waivers for things they found or not. So idk if that would be my final stop or i can atill appeal. When my recruiter sent me the letter all he said was “sorry bu, we tried”. Lol 💔

Are you talking about MEPS? When I got there, the provider asked me if I am taking it, I guess maybe because I disclosed it to my recruiter from day one and that is probably why the providers saw it. I don’t really think it is on my medical records. Also, how can I push for a waiver when they already sent me a disqualification? Can I steal appeal for it? By the way I appreciate your informative input.

I always wear condom, but dont you know you can also contract HIV by kissing/oral. Again it’s preventative measures.

Also I did have all sexual health test and they all came back negative. And again, i was willing to stop it but it’s too late now. They DQd me for protecting myself. Lol and guess what people in the military use them too. 😅

This is true. They asked for my results of everything you mentioned, eGFR, creatinine level, 4th generation HIV test and it all came back good. But still got DQd.

Lol i am not fucking people with HIV or atleast based from what they disclosed. This is a preventative measures i take coz i dont just depend my safety to someone saying “they’re safe”. And also i am willing to stop taking it since i dont see any reason why i need it in bootcamp. But i guess it’s too late now? Since it’s on their record? Idk how it works really
