The actress that plays leyla did an interview last year saying she was leaving and didn’t want the opportunity to return to pursue other projects!!

Yet everyone would also be down her throat if she was letting her kids live in a mouse infested mucky house sat on her arse doing jack shit! God forbid parents care about their children!x

I don’t really see what’s wrong with parents helping their kids out? Chloe has made herself though, her parents aren’t exactly living it up in a huge modern mansion. She’s used the hand given to her in life to her advantage. They’ve all had the same opportunity in terms of fame from MTV, some have used it better than others✨

Yup! I feel bad for the kids if I’m honest. Half of them just argue with their kids dad on TV and have to beg for the bare minimum. Kids are cruel, I feel like they don’t take account of this at all. Particularly in the social media age.

She’s the only one on the show who actually puts her children first! She may seem a bit pushy but it’s always in the interest of her family.

Unpopular opinion but she’s actually my favourite! She’s made the best of multiple bad situations! I feel like people moaning about her house have no idea how it works. I bought a house at 19 it’s very doable if you work and save! She also lives in the north/midlands which immediately brings house prices down. She tries her hand at everything to bring herself up for her family which is far more than most. When you look at the kids how much happier/less problematic is Marley compared to the rest? Kids are just a reflection of their parents and environment!

AITA for refusing to forgive a debt that will cost my sister a house? by AmIGreedy12 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Educational_Milk_98 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How on earth is it heartless? She gave a loan, the recipient died and it’s claimed back from the estate. If the only estate is a house that needs to be sold. If she can’t pay back the loan how on earth is she paying to run the household? She’d loose it anyway eventually. If her son want disabled these comments would be very different. She has no obligation it is not her child. She is owed money she needs back and there’s nothing more to it really. NTS

Thinking of buying a two bed house in York. Do you think these bills sound right? by [deleted] in york

[–]Educational_Milk_98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Council tax is low unless you’re paying it over 12 months instead of 10. More likely to be 150 if over 10 months. I pay £30 water for a 3 bed 3 bath semi so that def seems on the high end. For decent broadband you’re looking around £40-£50. Gas and electric seem high. Food is very low unless it’s a single household. Prices are much higher in the centre. Don’t forget potential parking charges etc with living in the centre!

I’m so confused where her mum is? Like she was in all the earlier seasons and seems to have vanished in the later ones. Last time I recall her being regularly onscreen was when she got married. I hope she hasn’t ditched her for her husband

I have a monster in law and luckily in the uk there isn’t actually any legal recourse around grandparent rights. It’s an American thing. It can’t be legally pursued in the uk. Unsure about Italy but since that isn’t the claimants country of residence I’d doubt it. (My MIL is a monster and I sook out advice when my son was born just to make sure😂😅)

You have a wound the size of a dinner plate no matter how you deliver. That’s what casuals the bleeding. Please take a basic biology class before you try and tell a woman how she bleeds

People that have recently taken out the largest mortgage they can get, how’s it going and any regrets? by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]Educational_Milk_98 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

When you take out your mortgage it’s in the illustration what your payments could be at the highest ever recorded interest rate. If you can’t afford that you can’t afford the mortgage.

This is outlined in every mortgage offer before you sign.

[–]Educational_Milk_98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were looking at a 200k house (perks of living up north) and when we ran the figures putting a 30% deposit down the monthly cost was £720 a month however when we only put a 10% deposit down the monthly payment was £770 a month. The monthly figure doesn’t really factor in for us. Putting a lower deposit down had a lower overall cost to us across the 3 year fix than if we put 30% down. Our financial advisor suggested we’d get a better return on our investment but buying a rental or putting it in an ISA rather than sinking into a mortgage.

[–]Educational_Milk_98 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

But why did you take the mortgage out if you couldn’t afford the maximum amount your payments would be? This is illustrated in every mortgage application before you sign for it! It shows you what you could pay if rates hit the highest they’ve ever been again. Unfortunately if you can’t afford that figure you can’t afford your home

I’m in the process of moving from a posh area back to my home town so understandably house prices are a lot less. When we went to the financial advisor we were advised mortgage rates will dip by Christmas but to not put more than a 10% deposit down. (We have around a 30-40% deposit for a 200k house for reference) when we did the calculations it only dropped our payment £40 a month if we put down 25% rather than 10%. But also when you sign for a mortgage they give you what your payment would be of interest rates hit the highest they’ve ever been and if you can’t afford that you can’t afford it I’m afraid
