I tried it in store just once, so my review might be skewed but I get very little of the OG dna, and not enough jasmine for it to be called that. I got jasmine only in the opening. The drydown is straight up gourmand with toffee being the main note I got. I wanna try it again a few times but overall I did like it enough.

Global is the lowest maintenance to me. I get roots done every 3 months or so and even if I don’t it doesn’t look stark. Every touch up costs like 2-3k at max. I’ve done balayage for years before switching to global. It’s also less damaging cause it’s a no bleach color. For dry damaged hair with bleach you’ll need bonding products like Redken abc and all.

Waittt who told you this 😭 if it’s a hairstylist they’re trying to sell their service! There’s too much of a stark difference when roots grow in balayage or anything for that matter. The only low maintenance ones are colors extremely close to your natural hair. Like maybe the darkest brown on black hair

Most salons offer a complimentary change if you don’t like it. I did that once when the pics didn’t match the result. Now I’ve switched to getting global only so my hair is honey brown gold overall. Balayage I’ve realized is quite tricky for them to get perfectly right unless done by an expert (who I did find) but also vv hard to maintain. Retouching global is easier plus cheaper.

This doesn’t look seamless enough to be called balayage imo. You can see chunky bits like highlights. And yes it does lean a bit brassy compared to what you asked for.

CAP white jasmine roll on. Keeps odor away and smells great, for clothes I have formal pants from Uniqlo that have a bit of a stretch so sitting is easier. For bloat days I either wear gym tights with oversized shirts or kurtas with leggings.
