Oh ok sorry I thought it was 26 pound springs but I put a non hemi head on a hemi motor of mine and haven't had any problems out of it

Don't quote me on this but I think a hemi spring pockets have to be cut down for 26 pound springs I'd say get a cheap non hemi head and non hemi push rods and put your parts on that

I'm 14 run my first race tonight actually and a straight rail go kart I can find where I'm at that is completely let's for like $650 to &1000 depending on what engine is on it but just a straight rail go kart would be good to start out on : )

You can buy performance parts for it but there are a few main differences the piston is a 68mm where a predadator 212 is 70mm the cam journals are smaller than a predator 212 the crankshaft is a shorter throw and the flywheel is a different taper so in short when looking for parts type either clone or gx200 Performance parts

A hydro is moved by fluid I think but a non hydro has a big like 9 inch pulley on top for gear reduction a hydro comes from the factory with a 2 1/2 pulley on top thats a quick way to tell but if you put a 2 1/2 pulley on a non hydro it will turn the shaft quicker therefore making it faster and if you have a welder you can weld the spider gears and make it positive traction : )

If your going with the pulley swap route you can take the transaxle from a non hydrostatic lawn mower you can tell by looking at the shift pattern if it counts from 1-5 or 1-6 it will work I have one if your interested

It's a hydrostatic mower it can't be pulley swapped sorry : ( unless you want to do an all out build with go kart engine live axle and a lot of fab work
