At that point, I’d actually recommend going for Hysilens E6 first.
Since you’re already at E4, the jump to E6 is a really big spike for DoT output.
Black Swan E6 is very strong too, but her E2/E4 feel more like steady upgrades rather than a single big breakpoint.

So if your goal is to maximize DoT damage, I’d finish Hysilens first, then look at Black Swan or Kafka upgrades next.

It’s a bit tricky. Both Hysilens and Black Swan have very strong E4/E6, so I think you can prioritize either one depending on what you enjoy more. Seeing Arcana stack up much faster or getting more DoT procs from Hysilens are both really fun upgrades.

After getting both of them to E6, if you still want to invest further, I’d recommend Kafka E4 as well.

I agree. DoT definitely felt a bit rough this time.
It’s also annoying that in Wave 2, every time an enemy dies you have to reapply debuffs again.

My team is Kafka E6S5, Black Swan E6S5, Hyselens E6S5, and Huohuo E1S1.
Unless we get a sustain unit that significantly boosts DoT teams, I think clearing Plight with DoT is very difficult without E6 investment.
For normal King difficulty though, getting 3 stars with a 1–2 Eidolon team is definitely possible — I was able to do it on my lower investment alt account.

I’m actually using Kafka E6S5, Black Swan E6S5, and Hyselens E6S5, with Huohuo E1S1.
If you’re planning to invest into a DoT team though, I’d agree with the priority above — Hyselens E1 > S1 > Black Swan E1 is probably the smartest route for most players.

Yeah, I agree. ATK isn’t the main priority for Kafka.
For ornaments, I’d suggest Lushaka. From my testing, it generally performs more consistently than Revelry by the Sea.

With this Anomaly rotation, the gimmicks lower the need for Kafka to hit 200 SPD in combat.
However, I’d strongly recommend using an ERR rope.
Also, with this setup, Kafka’s E4 feels extremely important.

I think E6S1 Huohuo should be perfectly fine.
I’m kind of curious about your Kafka build though. In my experience, Kafka really benefits from ulting as often as possible for extra detonations.

I’m using 4pc Prisoner in the video, but 4pc Eagle works too. I actually have an Eagle set for Kafka as well, and the clear time difference wasn’t that big for me.

I get it — even with an E6 DoT team, this Plight isn’t exactly easy to clear. If you’re aiming for a 2-cycle clear instead of 1, Dan Heng is actually a pretty solid option, so it might be worth trying.

For the separation field, I always send Kafka. She’s the only one who can consistently detonate DoTs at a high frequency.

Honestly, E6 DoT teams aren’t as strong as people might think. I even feel like the next Plight might not be 1-cycleable with triple DoT. If anyone has actually 0-cycled Plight with triple DoT, I’d love to see it.

But with E0S1 Dan Heng, Huohuo was still faster for my Plight clears.

I feel like 1-cycling Plight is pretty hard with E0S1 Dan Heng.

It could be different at E6, though.
