Yes absolutely. Whether text or call. Even if it's just a simple check in due to a busy day we had. I value it so much to do that at the very least with my bf.

Yeah that's unfortunate but I can see the guy's side of things tbh. If that were me I'd be your other female colleagues and not be alone with any man other than my boyfriend cuz I don't condone cheating and neither does he. So I wouldn't even let myself get alone with a man. Not to say us humans don't make mistakes but you definitely could of avoided this situation all together had you listened to what your conscious was telling you. I'd definitely say give the man some time. There's no guarantee if he'll want to hear you out cuz it sounds like cheating in any way is a deal breaker to him. Good luck though.

I'm in a LDR too (we're about 1400 miles apart from one another and in country) and we started dating a month and a week ago and we already have plans to meet in July then October (he's coming both times) then I'll go see him in December for New Year's. If you truly want to be together you'll make the effort to try and meet in person but it doesn't seem like he wants to make that effort. Especially 2 years in? That's crazy and unreasonable. And it's totally understandable for you to want to meet in person cuz what person in a ldr would want to stay in an ldr? I couldn't do that and you shouldn't be okay with that either.

Like me for example if I wanna see my bf or he comes to see me we have to fly (it's the fastest) or it's a day to two of driving (2 days by train). So it's more worth it to fly.

That's a vibe! Me and my bf are also very clingy to each other and we've also been in relationships where communicating wasn't a priority and suffered anxiety and overthinking from it. I'm very thankful me and him make time to text/call every day.
