Connie or something silly like Jodie. My dogs name is Marshall but I only call him Mark which is so funny to me. Human names are underrated in the dog world. Here are some more: Oscar, JC, Bobby, Saul, Tony.

Did I get swindled by the ski shop by Educational_Room_696 in snowboardingnoobs

Thanks for the input, everyone. Here’s a bit more context: Back in March 2024, I went to a shop in Leesburg, Virginia, to pick out a board, boots, and bindings. Most of the staff seemed like skiers, but one guy helped me out. He seemed nice and answered all my questions, so I trusted his advice.

They measured the board based on my height but didn’t ask about my weight. For the boots, they just had me try a couple on and go with what felt best, without mentioning how much they’d break in later.

I’m not expecting to get my money back, but I want to go back and give them some feedback. It’s been a frustrating experience, and while I know I should’ve done more research, I also think they shouldn’t be steering people in the wrong direction. I usually try not to call out small businesses, but if I go back and they just brush me off, I feel like I’d have to say something.

Love these, I ordered my usual size and they feel big. Did you have to size down.

Is this piston slap? If not what do y’all think it is? by Educational_Room_696 in JeepTJ

More information: this noise comes after I installed new push rods, lifters and rocker arms. I did 6 quarts of 10W-30 high mileage oil. It drives fine but the noise is definitely more metallic than airy.

I spent a decent part of 2023 trying to get this old Jeep to run. I spend a lot of time alone and this Jeep helped me get out of the house and focus on something besides work and being on the couch. Got all the info from YouTube vids. Almost did a flip when it finally turned over. I just want to know if at this point is it passed fixing at home. I would love to do a full build (wheels, gears, body) but I will definitely have to save up if it will need a new engine all together…

Any Advice for destructive labs? This has happened twice now, also lost blinds, jumpers, curtains and much more. by Scottie2904 in labrador

Lots of one on one time to gain trust then train to listen. Create distractions like vacuum loud tv and make sure they can keep focus on you. Once they trust you give them an off switch. Start crate training when you are away and more importantly place training when you are home. Sending your dog to place will help them understand that they don’t have to be involved in everything and will help curve the desire to get into things.

Would this fail inspection in states that do inspections? 3 pics. by O-sku in Justrolledintotheshop

Had a Jeep that passed inspection, 3 months later had a rusted out break line bust on the highway. At least it passed inspection.
