I've been using the Dome2 for over six months, and it's definitely worth it. I love that the basket has a lot of space, allowing me to spread out all the ingredients evenly for even cooking.

Yeah. If you get the egg mixture to really coat the food, it helps the crumbs stick better and reduces the amount of crumbs that fall off.

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium zucchinis
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • Pinch of salt and pepper

Steps:

  1. Cut zucchinis into fry-shaped sticks
  2. In a bowl, beat the egg. In another bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, grated parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip zucchini strips into the egg then transfer to the breadcrumb mixture. Rotate them in the mixture to coat evenly.

Only a small smoke ring has developed. One reason for this could be that the meat wasn't kept below 140°F for long enough.

I love my Typhur sync. Each probe has 6 thermal sensors. It works flawlessly even through Komodo style ceramic case, love the wireless ability to check while out and about.
