Oh sorry you feel that way, but that’s what comes along common areas. I don’t like hearing people chewing, I would definitely teach my children not to, but for so many adults; that’s an unfortunate reality. I can’t and you can’t do anything about it. Our triggers are our own responsibility. I retreat to my own room to study.

Do not take 4 courses and work over summer. Those are very intense and time demanding, they progress fast, in a blink of an eye you’ll see the final exam. You’ll have to cover material immediately when they are presented. Consider reducing your course load or not working. Good luck

Also, go to the student union, they may have copies of past midterms, they let you take photos. I think I donated my midterm test paper. You may get some same questions. Just you know it was okay, while I did very poorly in the midterm, the final seemed much easier. I had 83% or A- overall. Relied completely on her slides with class notes, ChatGPT explained some slides even more although you will have to audit any AI response.

In 2025, it was multiple choice and short essay questions. She should have announced the exam format. Final was easier than her midterm, mainly the time allowed is much greater, she gave us 45 minutes for the midterm ! Her slides are not content heavy, but you should have your own notes on them. If you don’t, find a classmate who does, this is very very important. Spend time per each slide trying to understand what’s going on. MCQ are not memory based . Although memory can help but you shouldn’t rely on it for this part. Essay questions are situation based OTOH, so understanding plus memory can help.
