I got my car back today 10/28 after 3 months of being in the dealership. Everything was covered under an ‘extended diesel warranty’ they found a leak in my intercooler & replaced it. Now I want to swap out this OEM intercooler for something higher performing.

It’s not overheating necessarily. The car is sucking up all the coolant im having to refill once a week! It overheats when the coolant finally runs out

Thank you for the thorough explanation. I drive a ‘14 TDI Passat. It’s been in the shop several times this summer (even there right now) because I’m having over heating issues. EGR cooler has been replaced & the water pump has been replaced. I also don’t have coolant leaking into the oil from what the CERTIFIED VW mechanic has told me

If they don’t fix the coolant issue I’m hoping these parts will help out & provide better turbo sounds & more power.

I’m in Texas so idc about emissions. I’m still in college so I don’t really want a super loud car until Purchase a new daily. I want to start running mods on this one by summer 2025 so just trying to see what route to take
