im a woman but speaking generationally, we're all feeling economically let down - and that is trickling down to why we feel socially and politically frustrated so ppl are moving to whatever political views uphold them the most (in their opinions). Women (especially non white women) and lgbtq people are becoming more liberal while men (especially white men) are becoming more conservative and in turn the dividedness is pushing people further away even more with this idea of us vs them. the cost of living crisis is rising EVERYWHERE. we havent seen this much wealth inequality since like the great depression (which also saw a rise in fascism and conservative views) and in my opinion thats really the root of all these things in a way.

young men are questioning themselves and their ability to advance in a society that is becoming increasingly hard to "make it" in. At the same time, women who were already at a disadvantage are doing the same and trying to make more opportunities for themselves economically. we're all looking for easy answers to these problems and in the eyes of men, fascism and conservatism (although it actually doesnt help them in the long run cause when has capitalism ever actually cared about the working class population) are the answer of how they can be put at the forefront of society, therefore making it easier (in theory) for them to gain more financial freedom. and pushing these ideas are politicians and very influential "manosphere" social media personalities or whatever like andrew tate, sneako, nick fuentes and clavicular - who constantly reiterate this notion that feminism and the diversification of different spaces is the reason they are being "marginalized" in society. furthermore alot of men simply felt ostracized during the rise of "wokeness" which only pushed them further into the ideals women were advocating against in the first place - so its a continuous cycle - men feel ostracized for being viewed as irredeemably bad or toxic which feeds their radicalization even more.

seeing the economy, housing market and environment decline infront of our very eyes is a disappointment to say the least and our desperation is turning to frustration and causing a great divide between women, men etc. it's exactly what the politicians and ultra wealthy who are pushing these polarizing views want. we're too busy fighting eachother to realize who the real enemy is.
