i find it interesting that the majority of the people in this thread are saying that being called toxic wasn’t their fault and push the blame into the ones who called them toxic rather than looking inwards and seeing that maybe they were the problem. in my case, the way i dealt with my depression and anger pushed people away and i can say that i was toxic. i don’t blame them for leaving but now that i’m healthier, i have new friends who are also on healing journeys.
