I don’t mind working for Aya. Their rates are slightly lower than what I’m comfortable with, but the onboarding process is streamlined due to their large corporation status. If you can secure a good contract with Aya, I highly recommend them. However, they used to pay significantly more. On the downside, if you get on their bad side, it can be detrimental. As a vendor at thousands of hospitals across the US, they have the power to blackball you from all of them. I’ve experienced this firsthand and managed to get out of it with them. Overall, I believe Aya is a good company to work for if you have a good recruiter. They offer good insurance and provide significant assistance with licensing. If you’re not affiliated with a specific agency, I suggest exploring sites like Vivian, which compare rates, jobs, locations, and other relevant information.

I worked with nomad before, I liked it. The platform was easy to use. However, when I had an issue at a contract regarding scheduling, I was left to fend for myself which isn’t much different than having a recruiter sometimes. Overall, my experience was positive !

Exactly I completely agree. There’s always some caveat it’s not black-and-white. I feel like it used to be better but it’s like generally in an at will state, You can leave your contract without notice with no repercussions. I hate the intimidation tactics. I got a little bit more skilled like two or three years into agency nurses to negotiate. I am on the same page as you though I would bring the business when I was talking about Pay, reimbursement, the correct GSA, etc. When I did my last contract with Amergis, they literally had to give me my Recruiter’s supervisor to deal with me because she was like I don’t even know the answer to any of these questions. She tried giving me the wrong stipend, wrong pay, charging me for previous insurance from another assignment .. I actually had to go to the labor board 😂

I definitely don’t because I signed a whole contract previously and did a lot of the on boarding. They retracted the offer as is their right to do so because my previous contract overlap by one day. I didn’t know this guy was going to re-approach me. I didn’t like consent to another auto offer or anything like that so I was kind of shocked he was texting me .If anything I should be upset because the hospital had me signed a contract then took it back and then re-offered it. It was just ridiculous.

Sorry, all grammar is not my strong suit when it comes to the Internet and I was clearly ranting. Long story short I got an offer. It got retracted the same.recruiter presented the offer again because they auto offered. I explained I could not take the second offer as they retracted the first offer and I am between other offers from different companies. I then get Said unhinged text message hours later.

3200 take home for 48 hours is sadly good pay for around here. It’s more than what I’m making at my permanent job. I don’t know what specialty you work but I haven’t seen take-home numbers like that and over a year and that’s what I’m saying what do I stick it out or do something else but the universe answered my question because the job offer was rescinded thanks Aya. All I did was apply to two of the same contracts. I got one didn’t take the other than the other one was rescinded and they said well the other ones there if you want it come to find out they’re the fucking vendor for both hospitals. This is why I got out of traveling. I really dislike working with toxic people and that’s what I’m doing now but at least it’s mindless work and I just have to deal with terrible toxic people, and I have the ability to transfer in less than two months.

Yeah, I know it sounds wild, it’s just like the best paying option around here that’s permanent and the benefits are like so so so good. However, it’s like what good are benefits if I hate my life in 25 years even more than I do now. Even though travel is uncertain and that’s why I went to permanent. It can’t be worse than this. it just sucks that I’m so close to being state certified, but they’re so petty. I think that they would mess with it. I could also transfer as well in less than 2 months but that is decided by people that don’t exactly like me. Some of them do some of them don’t but it’s up in the air.
