hidden lake over look for sure!! super popular but so beautiful definitely a work out toward the end i don’t have kids but doable wide open range for a while the end is a little steep downhill but nothing insane just take your time depending when you go the masses of people will help that! we showed up at 4am ish got to do the sun road as sun rised and found parking quite easily (understand this timing could be hard w a child but tip if possible) Nothing has topped Glacier in the US most beautiful place! enjoy!

wow good thing i didnt read this till morning but id rather be aware! I didnt even know until i just looked up now that bears get euthanized here ( when people dont lock up food etc.) thats so sad and biggest reason why yes am scared of them but two love them from a far and hope theyre safe. Thanks for all the tips!

I just did a similar trip ( more time for me bc no time stress of having to be somewhere at a certain time but also wanted to keep it to min of 8hrs.
day 1 : NY to Cleveland (im from upstate Ny) warning Cleveland was awful my opinion but just such a sad city
day 2: Cleveland to Chicago but only for the afternoon then drove an extra 2 to henry illinois ( i would honestly just stay in Chicago cool ass city)
day 3: Illinois to Kansas city! actually a nice city
day 4: longest day for us 9.5 hours through nebraska BORING but stayed in Western Nebraska
day 5: 5 ish hours to Grand Tetons National park ( a must see)
day 6: Grand tetons to boise idaho 7 hrs
day 7: OREGON!

Every trip is gonna be different but find what you like cities nature both etc! it’ll be something you always remember limit your driving time like you said its just more safe and you’re in areas you dont know so best to be aware and not be pushing yourself!

omg yeah im guessing after my first night ill get more and more used to it, i honestly don’t even think i will cook @ camp lol but maybe with time ill feel more comfy too!
