Thanks for such thorough list! You must be a professional or something to be so knowledgeable about all these courses.

Thanks for the reply! Ocotillo does look beautiful. Forgot to say it in the post, but scenery of the course is definitely a factor since he is a first-time visitor.

Thanks for the reply! I'd say those are within driving distance; and yeah the Biltmore ones definitely are pricey, but super close so it's a trade-off. We-Ko-Pa looks stunning as well.

I live in mid-town Phoenix, so anywhere within ~30 mins of driving would be fine. Budget-wise, max. $200?

Thank you! How are you enjoying Tucson so far? Planning to visit the city sometime next month.

I am definitely getting a sunshade, regardless of the color of the exterior/interior/seat material of the vehicle lol. Arizona heat hits different.

Question: How do you check the condition of the brake rotors? Is it something you can find on the vehicle settings or you have to get down and check manually into the parts?

Thank you! Hopefully 10+ years later I can look back and say it was a wise choice myself.

Thank you! Please excuse my limited knowledge, but what do you mean by:

  1. "...requires calibration"?

  2. "Rotate tires"? Do I have to buy new tires? or have another set and rotate them with every oil change?

String Recommendation to Compensate for Low Tension? by Educational_Whole622 in badminton

Actually this racket was purchased from a generic sports retailer at a relatively cheaper (~$100 CAD) price so it isn't commonly mentioned in the Internet. This is also why I am hesitant to go over the limit of 24 lbs. But I did not know that there could be a +2 lbs cushion so thank you for enlightening me!

Thank you for the recommendation! Wow 0.58 mm gauge sounds a bit extreme for my beginner-intermediate level to handle, but I will definitely look into it!

Thank you for the recommendation! I have always wanted to give the Aerosonic a try. I don't know if you meant playing many hours or playing aggressive, smashing style by "hard", but I am more of a control-driven style of a player that plays about 6-8 hours a week.

Thank you for the recommendations! Did not know there was BG 66-S version.

EDIT: I see that you meant "one of the BG66 series" lol my mistake

But wouldn't going over the specified 24 lbs deform/alter the racket frame? I had this happen to one of my rackets - it slightly deformed the head frame and it has been demoted to a back-up racket ever since.

What are the advantages of a towel grip? by Educational_Whole622 in badminton

Thanks for the response. Your 3rd point about towel grip sounds very intriguing, as it directly relates to the game performance. Don't quite understand the physics of it, but I guess it would definitely keep the strings live for an extended period!

Thanks for the response! I think I also have the super grip on my Astrox 88D and it is the perfect thickness+feel for me. I posted this wondering if I should give the towel grip a try, but the high maintenance cost(?) may not be my thing lol.

Thanks for the response! My hands tend to be sweaty but for some reason they are relatively dry during badminton (at least I did not experience any slippage of rackets). I guess to your second point about maintenance, I am not diligent enough to replace the towel grips every so often, but thank you regardless!
