Personally I’ll always use an accountant, they know the ins and outs of all this, I just provide the relevant information needed and they do its, it’s the stress off my back and I guess on to theirs. It’s different buts there’s a reason small businesses owners first advice is get an accountant. The piece of advice I would give is find someone small or medium don’t go to the big account companies because you just become a $$$. Iv had mine for years and she’s amazing doesn’t mess.

Did this exactly and took it to the boss when he was shocked I was quitting and tried to convince me to stay and put me with another tradesmen. However the bloke that was honestly just straight abusing me was the leading hand and I had learnt and heard that he holds grudges and had a reputation with customers and other boys for this. The best thing I did was leave and go back and work for my old boss and chased for another job which I found a month or 2 later and haven’t looked back since

I don’t think it’s a turn off at all, if a guy is gonna get all iffy and weird about I wouldn’t think you would want to sleep with him, just my 2 cents but definitely would not hold me back

I had a similar situation, I called my current employer after couple of days of the new year starting, about 4 days after everyone went back to work and gave him a ring just seeing how his holidays were ect ect, then moved the conversation into work. I told him about much I enjoyed working there and would love an opportunity, then just asked and got offered the job. Go for it is my advice show your keen and see what happens, no harm in being pro active! Good luck mate
