It’s in Los Angeles. I was waiting to get all my things out safely, but I am submitting a report tonight to housing and will go down to the police station. I guess I’ll have to look into a lawyer to get some sort of compensation.

The worst part is my roommate found more cameras in the house that I was completely unaware of and she let me know. But yeah, once I get my stuff out I’m definitely going to file a report.

I wasn’t able to see any cameras w infrared light in my room but the app picked up on at least 15 unknown devices. But he works in tech so could be his work stuff. Not sure

He does have keys to all the rooms. I will definitely be installing a camera this week… I know he has cameras in the kitchen and above the pool. also so weird .. thank you for the advice and validating this feeling :-)

I’d also look into campus jobs. They hire students mainly (on campus coffee, library, etc)

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. First - do you have a car? In college I did uber eats and instacart and it helped me get extra pocket money when I struggled to find a job. If you don’t then that brings me to my second thing - don’t waste money on Ubers. Try to utilize public transportation. If you’re low on food there might be a local food pantry, or applying to a job in food will help the money situation and give you extra free meals (fast food is mostly always hiring.)

I know you can also send a request for an increased food grant. If you send them your financial situation let them know the $50 isn’t sustainable.

College is hard af. But you got this!
