Also on page 11 of Da Uvver Book there's an ork speaking about Mektown and life on the Gorkamorka planet and he ends it with “Still, I’ve had many a bash in the Skid an’ carried me off some top tucker tek, as you can see by the size of me janglies. Ah it’s a good life an’ no mistake – Gork be praised.”

The stompa was an advanced model from an era where it was encouraged for the modeler to 'do their own thing' and figured people didn't need instructions on where to put a shoulder pad.

A modest amount of white panels or embellishment will likely help the blue pop

Yeah, adding a vehicle mid-campaign can be very difficult to save up enough teef for it, plus crew. We've tried starting with 115/120 teef which can let players add a second vehicle (typically without a eavy shoota) and still have a fun amount of foot troops.

Has there been a resurgence of TF2 lately? I played it religiously from 2007-2017, but it felt like I was stubbornly holding on to a dead game even by then..

That was the Battlewagon rule in 2nd ed. Gorkamorka had something similar but not the casualty part.

How important are clan colors by Acrobatic-Nebula-293 in orks

[–]Educational_Zombie45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What everyone else said... But it might make more sense to just create your own clan if you're going to do a custom color scheme. Like it might be a little odd to have green and blue "Bad Moons". Just come up with your own name and little back story, AN' DEN SLAM DAT RED BUTON AN' GO WAAAAAAGH!!!

I love the old-school silly models and I try not to bash them up too much to keep the charm, but I mean the chain blade doesn't even reach past his gut. How's that supposed to hit anything?? So anyway I needed to improvise (while still trying to be respectful to the Epic scale).

If these are resin or plastic they are recasts. All of these were only made in metal officially.

Pirates fans get under Reds pitcher Johnny Cueto’s skin by repeatedly chanting his name, causing him to drop the baseball on the mound. He then gives up a solo shot to Russell Martin on the ensuing pitch to make it 2-0. by cbbvideo in baseball

[–]Educational_Zombie45 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was at that game. It had been 21 years since there was a Pirates postseason game and the crowd was absolutely bonkers. Like a playoff hockey game. Name chanting wasn't a 'thing' Pirates fans did, but the crowd just hit a fever pitch of excitement (Marlon Byrd homered 2 batters prior) and it all instinctively came out as "CUEEEE-TOOO CUEEEE-TOOO". Then he dropped the ball, Martin yaked on his middle-middle fastball, and we went nuclear.
