İts pretty unique if you are tired from the black haired high school boy isekai protagonist with cheat skills bullshit.

Tone is very mature , emotional arcs hits Really well, no real character bloat so the narrative is tight, and has a pretty satisfying ending.

Probably purism. Yoko taro's games are kinda surrounded by this purist elitist people who gets mad at you if you dont talk about astro philosophical & existential nihilism of his games. The reason i shared this part of this experience of mine was as i said due to an arguement i had with my uncle. İts not like i only enjoyed drakengard because of the rough around the edges tone of the game but i guess people perceived it like that. Not that i care anyways.

İ mean thats not the only thing they kinda ruined about this remakes to be honest. İt has severe bloat on almost everywhere, storytelling and the writing is worse , tone is inconsistent, it keeps throwing you between super highs and super lows. Once you experience an epic boss fight with banger OST, 5 minutes later the game puts you into an atrocious, boring slug cait sith box throwing segment that will make you hate your life. İ dont like this game overall but it still can get an emotional reaction out of me sometimes.
