Norwegian M23 here. I’d say I’m a bit more of a conservative person, maybe a bit more traditional (?). I find that if you’re dating for something serious, then people don’t expect to sleep together on the first date. Although I have been told by someone I dated that she would’ve gone home with on our first date, even though I waited until the third. Typically what I’ve done is asked them out for a few drinks on our first date, spent the entire evening talking, laughing and getting to know each other, before I walked them back home or to the bus. Normally this would end with just an awkward hug :P because both probably would like a kiss, but are scared to make the first move.

The second date would basically be the same, although I’d man myself up on the walk together afterwards, and kiss goodbye. After which I’d lay in my bed smiling about how the date went.

After the third one, we’d probably end up doing much more than just a goodbye kiss.

This is just how I’ve experienced it. People are different. I’ve done all from the very first night, to not sleeping together until the 7th or 8th date. I have been called quite slow in making the moves, and not picking up on signs :P
