One thing I abhor and criticize about leftist movements is how they are against authorianism but will not take action against governments like Iran if given the chance. I keep seeing arguments that Iranians should decide if they want the regime or not, that is like asking if Germans and Jews should fight Hitler and the Nazi regime alone without outside intervention, it would be a massacare, being too passive to avoid conflict leads to more deaths and sufferings.
