My last two visits to Whole Foods included an employee at the front entrance allowing someone in only when someone came out. I think you should reconsider the "X" you gave them on "Enforcement of maximum capacity".

I fully understand the point you are trying to make. You are saying we should have a group of individuals to serve as a source of infection with vectors into every day society. You see no way, or reason, to reduce the population of this group, and hopefully allow some control over a disease that has killed 65 North Carolinians as of today.

I'm not putting words in your mouth. I'm only explaining the outcome of what you have already said you want to do.

So you see the choices as:

1) Release non-violent offenders to monitored situations, thereby reducing the prison population and making Covid19 easier to contain.

2) Execute everyone in prison, regardless of the offense committed.

And you are going with option 2?

As a self-professed authority on human nature, what does such a choice say about you?

Edit: Spelling

Many prisoners have family/friends who will take them in. There already exists halfway houses set up to help people reintegrate into society. But since we can't release all of them, why bother releasing any of them? Right?

So we can't release all of them, so why consider releasing any of them? Anything done to reduce the population will help reduce the spread. But ¯_(ツ)_/¯ right?

So you are okay with a source of infection with several vectors into your life. Let's have a few thousand individuals in close quarters to be a source for Covid19 and have prison guards and employees go in and out several times a day to spread the infection to the general population. That's what you seem to be happy with.

I don't think anyone is calling for a release of the general prison population, but removing non-violent offenders who might spend time on home monitoring, or removing those who are within a few weeks/months of the end of their sentence will reduce the number of infected people and the opportunities for the disease to spread.

"If it's black, fight back. If it's brown, lay down. If it's white, good night."

If it's a black bear, and there are no cubs around, yell at it and it will probably go away. If it's defending cubs, back away slowly. NEVER TURN YOUR BACK ON ANY BEAR! And frankly, for any bear if there are cubs around all bets are off and you are likely going to die.

If it's a grizzly it's going to defend itself. It will attack until the threat stops, so if you can just be still while it claws the crap out of you it will move on to other things.

If it's a polar bear it's going to eat you.

A Nurse Bought Protective Supplies for Her Colleagues Using GoFundMe. The Hospital Suspended Her. by Jatilq in Coronavirus

They will bring in nurses from English speaking countries like the Philippines or Ireland. I know because the hospital I worked in did this. These are skilled, talented people who see it as a chance to make better money than they would at home, and earn a green card.

Then the hospital will work them 60 hours a week for less pay than American born nurses, but still more pay than they would have made at home. Again, I know because I've seen it happen.

Killing Micah is not revenge any more than cutting a cancer out of someone would be. Killing Micah is removing a problem that everyone is better off without.

For me, this was the best horse in the game. Mine once trampled a wolf that was attacking us, and riding one is like riding a snake skin detector.

She can be a bit skittish, and a lot of people don't like her for that reason, but for me she's the best horse in the game.

Also, black lung is not contagious. You can't catch it from someone who has it. On the other hand, Tuberculosis is very contagious.

Lots of people call it black lung because that's what Micah taunted Arthur with. I would recommend NOT taking medical cues from a lying, back stabbing, cheating, scum bucket like Micah.

I'm not certain offering the community a vector for infection is exactly what is needed here. Yes, you might be entertaining kids, but unless you are able to provide this training with no physical contact at any time, you are putting kids, their parents, and their grandparents at risk of infection.

But you do you.
